Lessons

Contents

Each lesson is designed according to your purpose/goal. Therefore, 15 min Skype interview session will be set after your first contact. You will study with original materials prepared just for you. So, you don't need to buy textbooks. ( if you want to buy textbooks, I recommend "Minna no Nihongo" ) During the lessons, you will see lots of illustrations of certain situations to practice new grammars. This is because I want you be able to speak grammatically correct sentences aligning with the situation in real life. After the lesson, you will receive the grammar summary and homework via email.

Online booking system

You can book lessons yourself on the Booking page of the website.

  1.  Create an account

  2.  Log in  

  3.  Manage your lesson bookings (i.e. review your schedule, cancel or reschedule lessons).

  4.  For the students taking lessons longer than 60 minutes, please enter a comment in when making the reservation and I will adjust the duration manually. Just please make sure there is enough time in the schedule

Alternatively you can check available time and contact me, then I will reserve the lesson for you.  

-    Lessons can be booked Monday - Friday : 09:30- 20:30

-    For special request for weekends and late evening lessons, please contact me individually.

 

Payment

Please pay in advance via a bank transfer or in cash at the beginning of the lesson.​

Lesson Fee 

  • Single payment lesson : 30 GBP per hour, typical duration of a lesson is 60 or 90 minutes.

  • Package of 10 lessons + 1 additional for free : 300 GBP, no refund, valid for 4 months

Cancelation policy

Each lesson starts sharp on time. Lessons cannot be postponed ; the preparation for the next lesson typically starts soon after the previous lesson finishes. If you are late your lesson will be shorter.

 

For cancellations, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. Cancellation on the day is accepted only once in 5 lessons. More than that, same day cancellation will be charged 100% lesson fee.

 

Naturally, the same rule applies to me too. When I need to cancel lesson within 24 hours more often than once in 5 lessons, I will pay you amount of the lesson fee.
